Ladies' Day

Ladies' Day 2025 is on Wednesday 27 August!

One of our most popular race days, Ladies' Day at Catterick offers a fun, fashionable day of Flat racing for all, with thrilling racing action, Best Dressed Lady and Best Hat competitions plus a range of ticket and hospitality options to suit all occasions and budgets.

Whilst there is no formal dress code at Catterick Racecourse, Ladies' Day is an opportunity for those who like to dress up for the occasion as there are some fantastic prizes on offer (details will be announced in due course).

We'll also have live music alongside the racing action and fashion competitions, plus there's free children's entertainment in the Course Enclosure.


Countryside Ladies' Day

Countryside Ladies' Day is on Wednesday 5 March 2025.

Offering the opportunity to showcase winter fashions, Countryside Ladies' Day takes place on the final meeting of the National Hunt season, in March. 

Alongside thrilling Jump racing action, racegoers are invited to take part in fashion competitions including Best Dressed Lady and Best Accessory.

Prize details will be announced in due course.

Our 2025 Best Dressed Lady Competition has been kindly sponsored by the Black Bull Inn and La Fille Rouge. 

Catterick’s Jumps Season Best Dressed Lady will win a two-course meal for two people with a bottle of house wine at the Black Bull Inn, plus a £250 gift voucher to spend at La Fille Rouge!

La Fille Rouge design and create bespoke capes, wraps and accessories in tweeds, wool and waxed cotton. Each item is individually handmade by Yvonne.

The Best Dressed competition is open to all racegoers, simply head into the Parade Ring at the time of judging to be in with a chance of winning these fabulous prizes!

Saks Hair & Beauty Salon at Sedbury Hall, Gilling West, is set in 300 acres of beautiful woodlands within the grounds of the Sedbury Hall estate, within the recently renovated grade II – listed stables which were originally designed and built in 1771 for King Charles II to keep his racehorses.
