The Christmas period is one of the busiest times at Catterick, with two of our most popular race days. The festivities begin once the Christmas lights have gone up at the course, ready for ‘Christmas at Catterick’ on Tuesday 19th December.
Next up on the calendar is the Go Racing in Yorkshire Festival on Thursday 28th December – the perfect time for race goers to enjoy some fresh air with family and friends over the Christmas period. The Winter Festival begins at Wetherby Racecourse on Boxing Day and Wednesday 27th, before heading to Catterick on the 28th and comes to an end at Doncaster on Friday 29th December. Festive Freddy, the winter festival mascot, will be at the course on the day ready to give any children on Santa’s ‘nice’ list an extra little Christmas gift!
Following on from the Winter Festival, Catterick will host the first meeting of the 2018 Yorkshire Racing Calendar, on New Year’s Day. What better way is there to dust off those Christmas cobwebs than with a day at the races?!
Tickets for all the fixtures over the Christmas period are on sale now, and you can save up to 20% on your Grandstand & Paddock admission by booking online in advance. Remember under 18’s go free when accompanied by an adult and do not require a ticket.
