St Teresa’s Hospice comes to Catterick for their annual charity race day tomorrow, Wednesday 11 July. We have 7 races scheduled, please find the timings for the day below and a full list of runners & riders can be seen on the Racing UK website here.
- Gates open: 12.10pm
- First race: 2.10pm
- Last race: 5.15pm
- Feature race: 4.10pm – The Turmeric Handicap Stakes

Remember the St Teresa’s Hospice Pantomime Horse Race will be taking place ahead of the first race, at 1pm so do come along early and enjoy the race – it’s always entertaining!
Tickets are still available to purchase online, and also at the gates on the day. Remember accompanied under 18’s go free and do not require a ticket! A few spaces remain in the Winning Streak Restaurant – please contact the racecourse office if you would like to reserve a table.
If you are driving to the racecourse, please note that the Fort Bridge is now open. Racegoers can now leave the A1 at Junction 52 and follow the brown signs, which will lead them over the bridge and directly to the racecourse. The FREE shuttle bus will leave from Richmond Market Place (opposite the Town Hall Pub) at approx. 1.10pm, and will return again after racing.
Please be aware that the building works have now started at the course, and so the entrance nearest to Catterick Bridge is no longer in use. The main entrance to the racecourse is now at the East (Catterick Village) end of the racecourse. Please click here to view a map of the current layout.
