In line with the statement from the BHA, racing at Catterick Racecourse on Saturday 17th September will go ahead as scheduled.
However, as this meeting falls during the mourning period, we will continue to mark Her Majesty’s passing with tributes on-course.
Elements of the day will be more subdued out of respect for the Royal Family. Whilst we want racegoers to enjoy their day, and the Pennine Brewing Company will still be joining us with their beers, the live music has been cancelled and we ask all racegoers to be mindful of the special circumstances in which this race day will be taking place.
A two-minute silence will be held ahead of the opening race, followed by the National Anthem and jockeys will wear black armbands while riding in each race.
