Catterick’s 2021/22 National Hunt season comes to an end tomorrow, with the final meeting of the season – Countryside Ladies’ Day!
We have 7 races scheduled alongside our Best Dressed Lady and Best Accessory competitions. Please find the timings for the day below and a full list of runners & riders can be seen on the Racing TV website here.
- Gates open to public: 12.15pm
- First race: 2.15pm
- Last race: 5.40pm
- Best dressed lady and best accessory competitions will take place at the Winners’ Enclosure after the second race
For those unable to attend, all of the action will also be available to watch live on Racing TV and each race will be uploaded onto the Racing TV player on our website here.
The going is currently Soft, Good to Soft in places; correct as of 10am on Tuesday 8th March.
The forecast tomorrow is for a cloudy but dry day with some brighter spells and highs of 12 degrees. We have no formal dress code, so please dress for the weather! View the full forecast here.
With the winter season discount now available, tickets for the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure are £15 each on the day (£12 in advance of gates opening), and the Course Enclosure is £5 per adult. Under 18’s are free of charge in both enclosures.
The Best Dressed Lady competition has been kindly sponsored by The Black Bull Inn and the winner will receive a voucher for a two-course meal for two with a bottle of house wine, while the Best Accessory winner will receive a £30 voucher from Millbry Hill Country Stores. Please note that the Course Enclosure is operating as a picnic enclosure at this meeting, with the bar area open for shelter only.
The free shuttle bus service from Richmond Town Centre to the racecourse has now restarted. The shuttle bus leaves from Richmond Market Place, just opposite the Town Hall Pub, approximately 1 hour prior to the first race and will return after the last race.
Please do not travel to the racecourse if you feel unwell or develop symptoms of covid-19. Catterick Racecourse offers a full refund to anyone who tests positive or is required to self-isolate, so please book with confidence but do not put your fellow racegoers at risk by travelling if you feel unwell.
