The Flat season is up next at Catterick Racecourse and with 18 fixtures it looks set to be a thrilling season.
The first fixture is on Wednesday 4 April – Easter Family Day – and we're kicking things off with an action packed day filled with family fun! Alongside the seven-race card we have Easter themed entertainment for the children to enjoy including an Easter hunt and a petting farm with rabbits, guinea pigs, alpaca and more.
In May, the annual Local Businesses Race Day will return to Catterick. Anyone who works at a local business, with a DL postcode, is entitled to HALF PRICE admission at this meeting. Discounts are also available on corporate sponsorship packages and trade stands for businesses within the area. Click here to find out more.
June will be an exciting month, firstly with Racing Careers Day on Friday 1 June. The theme of the day is to educate racegoers about the different career options within the racing industry, and local school pupils and Pony Club members are invited to take part in a behind the scenes tour of the racecourse prior to racing. Then on Saturday 9 June Catterick will welcome it’s first Yorkshire Beer Festival in association with The Pennine Brewing Co. The beer festival will take place in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure alongside the racing and will continue until 6:30pm. There will also be live music throughout the day from The Black Marcs.
Later in the season we have more excitement to look forward to as the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival visits Catterick in July, the ever popular Ladies’ Evening returns on Friday 17 August and a new Harvest Festival themed race day joins the calendar on Saturday 22 September.
