It's been an unusual season and we have certainly missed our crowds and the exciting atmosphere they bring, but we have been lucky to have enjoyed some thrilling racing action and, now that Catterick's 2020 Flat Season has now come to an end and we're pleased to announce our Champion Owner, Trainer and Jockey for the season:
Champion Owner: Middleham Park Racing
Middleham Park Racing enjoyed five wins at Catterick this season with VENTURA RASCAL, FIVEANDTWENTY, TATSTHEWAYTODOIT and BEECHWOOD JUDE (twice!).
Champion Trainer: Tim Easterby
Tim Easterby led the trainers championship from a long way out this season, and went one better than last season to take the title this year! The team finished the season with a total of 7 winners.
Champion Jockey: Jason Hart
It was very close for the Champion Jockey title, with the result going right down to the wire in the last race at our final meeting! In the end, Jason Hart squeezed in another second placing to add to his 6 winners to take the title, with just one third place finish separating him and Kevin Stott. Phil Dennis also enjoyed a double at our final meeting to climb the leader board and take third.
